The Promised Land!

After 4 1/2 months I'm finally back! I spent all day traveling to Albuquerque and then down to my area so I got to see a lot of my old friends throughout the mission! I'm now assigned in El Paso, TX (right in time for a lovely and very, very hot Texas summer of course) and my area is next to the border so I can see Mexico in the distance! El Paso is called "The Promised Land" in the mission since it's the highest baptising area, so I'm excited to get to work! My new companion, Hermana Bosch, is amazing and adorable and I'm so excited. She was born in Venezuela so her Spanish is amazing (which is perfect since it's been a while since I was really able to speak Spanish with anyone). I don't really have any other news yet. it hasn't even been quite 24 hours since I've been here, but I'm so excited to be able to be a missionary again and to be in this area with this companion! #blessed

Have a great week, y'all!

Hermana Martin
I got to spend an hour with Hermana Verdoorn, an Hermana I knew from Las Cruces!

Hermana Busch and I attempted to take a picture right before we came to email so it's not great but she's always adorable anyways
