Feliz Ano Nuevo!

Please excuse the fact that I have no idea how to type the squiggly N thing on this computer.

Hola everyone!

I hope you all had an incredible Christmas!

A really nice guy we talked to in front of his house climbed up his orange tree and gave us some!
Christmas as a missionary is the greatest because you just get to go around and serve others and bring the Christmas spirit all day. I mean that's really what we did this whole past week! People were super nice to us and we sang lots of Christmas carols everywhere we went and made and ate a TON of tamales.
Tamale making part 1
Tamale making part 2!
And of course Skyping with the family was awesome! And we were super spoiled everywhere we went and people gave us so much candy and baked goods and Mexican pastries and fun things! We're going to have sugar for many months to come!

It was hard to actually teach lessons, basically all of the people that we'er mainly working with were out of town, so we spent most of our time contacting and trying to bring Christmas cheer!

Our investigators are doing amazing though and hopefully the Familia Gay (3 super amazing and adorable kids ages 13, 10, and 8) will be able to be baptized this Sunday! And should be any weekend now, just as soon as Oliver gets a day off and they can get married! But there's lots of great things happening here in Ascarate and these last two weeks of the transfer should be good ones!

And naturally we took lots of Christmas selfies

Love you all! Have a fun and very safe New Years!

Hermana Martin
