MLC!

Hola everybody!

This week was great! I'm all better and we were finally able to leave the apartment this last Wednesday and get back to work! 

​​When my nametag looks the dirtiest because I'm so old mission-wise

Elder is still doing great after his baptism and we're starting to teach his family now! He's already such a good missionary and we're trying to encourage him to go on a mission since he's only 22 and also then he'll be Elder Elder Guzman and it's just too funny so it has to happen.

This week got super warm and was actually in the 70s for a few days and it was so nice and we didn't even wear legging for a few days! And then we woke up this morning and there was snow on the ground haha. But we're used to the cold now so it's fun!

We're teaching so many amazing investigators with so much potential! There's this family (we call them the Lupe's because 2 out of the 4 of them are named Lupe) and we didn't think they were going to be super interested at first. They're super Catholic, like shrines and everything in their house, but when we started teaching them the Spirit was so strong and they absolutely loved it and they are progressing so well! We can't wait to see how they continue growing!

Also, this week the mission president from the District 2 (a video series thing that all of us missionaries watch that's like basically the closest thing we get to a tv show and it's actually so good) came to visit our mission and they did a special MLC (mission leadership conference) and some of the missionaries throughout the mission were selected to go and our trio all got to be there! I was so fun to see so many of my missionary friends, a lot that I probably won't see again till I go home, and to be able to be at such an amazing meeting!

We learned a lot about new ways to teach and it's absolutely changed the way we do missionary work and we've seen so many miracles. Brother Donaldson showed us how to use the pamphlets even more to teach really simply with a lot of interaction and basically I can't believe I haven't done this my whole mission. It was so amazing and I'm so grateful that I got to go!

I think that's all! Oh, transfers are this next week, we'll get the news on Saturday :/ President Guffey told us in interviews that there are an odd number of hermanas coming in so unless they have 2 trios (which really isn't a thing, they really try to avoid trios which is sad because trio life is the greatest thing in the world) they're going to move at least one of us. We know that whatever happens is exactly what needs to happen, but we're hoping against all odds that we get to stay together for one more transfer!

We went to this really cool place here in Santa Fe called Meow Wolf and basically it was an old bowling alley that they made into this giant art playground and it 's amazing!
