Merry Christmas from El Paso!

Hola everyone!

Nothing too crazy happened this transfers, so it's been a pretty calm week.

Definitely a cold week though.

So there's this thing called aqua nieve (water snow) that basically means it snows sometimes at night but it doesn't stick so it's just kinda cold and smells like snow all the time. But I guess I really can't complain about the cold since it's not cold enough to really snow. We'll see about how the next few weeks go!

Our investigators are doing great! We're working with some super amazing families and individuals and December should be a super miracle filled month!

We have some really exciting things that aren't for sure yet so I'll wait to talk about them till we have more details, but we're already seeing crazy miracles! December really is a special time of year when hearts are softened and people are more willing and ready to come unto Christ.

We got to do a super fun service project before everyone left for transfers and we were painting this building, it's like part church, part rehab center, part military office. I'm not really sure. But they gave us these super cool military coin things (I'll take a picture next week of what it looks like) that basically they give to people that go above and beyond for service in the community. I mean all we did was paint a wall, but it was really nice!

Painting!
So there's this big oil refinery in our area and they go ALL OUT for Christmas! They put multi-colored lights on the towers, they set a nativity out in front of one of the plant entrances, and have all sorts of lights and things along other entrances. So yep, Merry Christmas from El Paso!
The multi-colored tower lights!
Have a great week, love you! Stay warm!
